Description
Solar MPPT Water Heater Boiler Fothermo - 80 Litres
Simple plug & play installation
Warm water thanks to the power of the sun. The innovative photovoltaic boiler converts electricity from photovoltaic modules directly into heat. All you need to do is connect the photovoltaic modules directly to the boiler and the heating process will start immediately.
The photovoltaic water heater with a capacity of 80 liters is ideal for providing hot water for a 2-person household, for producing hot water in Tiny Houses or for self-sufficient hot water supply, e.g. in mountain huts.
Free yourself from rising energy costs and enjoy self-produced, renewable hot water.
The most important features of the product
- Photovoltaic boiler with a capacity of 80 liters
- Hot water temperature up to 65°C
- 100% renewable heat source
- Photovoltaics - hot water thanks to free electricity from photovoltaic cells
- Battery operation - using surplus energy from a 12 V or 24 V battery to heat water
- MPP tracker for maximum PV efficiency
- Plug & Play - direct connection of PV modules with a power of up to 1500W
- Patented technology
- 100% Off Grid - does not require connection to the power grid
- The PV system does not need to be registered
- Excellent quality - made in Germany
- Digital temperature display and energy meter
- Easy use of cheap solar modules connected to the grid
- Safe starting thanks to operation at very low voltage
- Safety valve included
- Easy installation - only 2 wires need to be connected
- Renewable domestic hot water - 100% renewable hot water supply thanks to solar energy.
- No fossil fuels - the smell of gas or exhaust fumes when heating water is a thing of the past
- Anti-freeze protection - easy water emptying in winter
Photovoltaics or battery? Now you can use both!
Decide whether you want to connect the boiler to the photovoltaic module or to the caravan's on-board battery.
A maximum of 1,500 Wp of photovoltaic energy can be connected to the boiler. It does not matter whether you use large or small, thick or thin, flexible or rigid photovoltaic modules.
You can also use excess energy from the battery and store it in the boiler - as hot water.
Possible applications
- 2-person household: an 80-liter boiler provides enough hot water for the average hot water needs of a 2-person household.
- Relieving the heating system: The photovoltaic boiler can be used in the summer for fallow heating of domestic hot water. In summer, you can turn off the overly extensive fossil heating system and provide domestic hot water exclusively using a photovoltaic boiler, thus not only saving money, but also actively protecting the climate.
- Self-sufficient supply: Hot water supply away from the power grid, e.g. in an allotment garden.
- Replacement for a classic electric boiler: You can replace your old electric boiler with an innovative photovoltaic boiler. This can significantly reduce your electricity bills.
Easy assembly and connection
- Connecting the boiler is simple, intuitive and takes just a few moments.
- Plus to plus and minus to minus. This is all you need to pay attention to when connecting. You certainly don't need an electrical engineering degree for this!
- Integrated reverse polarity protection provides additional safety should something go wrong.
- Easy assembly. Only four screws. Mount the boiler in your camper with just four screws. You don't need more than a screwdriver. Installation is simple and safe.
Innovative and intelligent algorithms ensure even better performance
Choose one of 5 individual modes to optimally adapt the boiler to the existing energy system in the camper.
Algorithms measure excess battery energy and convert exactly that amount into heat. Everything works fully automatically.
Discharge the on-board battery for even more hot water. But only if you want it! Otherwise, only the surplus will be used.
Two digital displays provide maximum insight into the situation
The current water temperature, thermal power and the sum of all energy inputs can be read directly at the boiler.
A second display with a 5 m cable allows you to display the temperature from anywhere in the caravan.
A small battery in the boiler makes it possible to read the display readings also at night.
